Introduction
The Tropical Andes is located in South America. It runs through Panema, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, and Chile. It is on the coast of the Pacific Ocean. The Tropical Andes is an area rich in biodiversity and holds about 45,000 plant species, 3,000 vertebrates, 1,666 bird species, 479 reptile species, and 830 amphibians species. This hotspot is quite important to conserve due to the many endemic species that live here. The biodiversity has been continuously decreasing due to the numerous threats.
